Clinton had the chance to go after Bin Laden after the first WTC threat, but no, he had to go and try to sue Bill Gates! Clinton did damage, he weakened the minds of our citizens. [BarleySinger]: and [Gryph] there is no real doubt that the election was rigged (or at least screwed up). There is information on it all over the internet (even on the CNN site) and if you recall the US Supreme Court of the US declared Bush to be the president. He did not win the election at all. The US Supreme court also voted to stop a state mandated manual recount in Florida (the state most tampered with) which was being done because the Florida State Supreme Court said that the votes had been badly miscounted, many voters had been illegally bared from voting, and the balot was extremely confusing. You might note that the US Supreme COurt did not have the legal authority to do either of those things.

Well my general philosophy is this, if a cop asks you if you have a gun on you, and you say "maybe". Then the cop asks if he can search you and you reply with "sure but you can't look in my left pocket". How long do you think the cop will sit there before bending you over the car and making sure you don't have a gun? [Xirath]: Bush, took a page from Reagan's book, and did some major tax cuts and this includes business tax cuts. After 9/11 one of the first things every major business did was place a hiring freeze. The reason for this was the instability of the economy and the questionability of a business' income. When a business now has more money in its budget it finds ways to use it, in most cases they hire more people. It is economical fact that tax cuts to businesses create jobs. Last time I checked, more jobs are good for the economy isn't it? Which would you rather have? No job, but hey you get a nice extra $1,000 in tax relief or would you rather have a job? [Xirath]: As much as someone wants to believe, no president was responsible for 9/11. It wasn’t Clinton’s fault, it wasn’t Bush’s. The US gets threats on a daily basis, many of them (including the ones of 9/11) are extremely vague and even if we wanted to do something about it, we couldn’t. It would be like me saying someone is going to drop a pin somewhere in the US, if that pin isn’t found in 2 hours, it will explode. How can you possibly defend against that? (see next post)

[Xirath]: Just to show that I'm not a blind supporter, I will list some things I do disagree with. I dislike his illegal immigration policy he wants to pass. I am pro choice, and I am pro gay marriage (2 things bush is not). However when making a choice between Bush, someone who I know exactly where he stands, even if I disagree with some of his views. I can't for the life of me figure out where Kerry stands, it's because he keeps changing his mind. What makes you think he won't change his mind once he gets into office? I do welcome any intelligent debate, I don't consider myself set in stone and these are just my opinions.

[Weedy]: Xirath<< first i want to say that i respect you for beeing an intellegent debater and not someone who use the first 10 words in the message to insult us.... my reason for hating bush is not because he fucked up with the us econemy or because of the war in afganistan.... my only reason is the war in iraq.... and your point with that war is that because iraq was bluffing with it having or not having chemical weapons i greatly disagree.... both before and especially after the was in afghanistan the iraqi was allowing the UN weapon inspectors search where they wanted..... the leader of the UN weapon inspectors hans blix said so himself and was accused by bush for beeing anti war and a liberal

[Weedy]: (continued) there are several reasons to why the war in iraq is bad... first it wasent supported by the UN and so took away alot of the UN credibility... second it is for the terrorists and fundamentalist a proof of the us wanting to police the world especially because the conflict in palestina havent been solved as bush promised his allies it would be when he started the war.... because of this many terrorist organisations have gained more recuits the last 2 years than they got in 8 years earlier, something i see as extreamly bad

[Weedy]: (continued) the third reason is that iraq havent been stabilised yet.... the way the bush administration have handled iraq "after" the war is for me a proof of bushes very narrow minded look on the world... bush espected the iraqi who are allmost all muslims to accept the western way of life without question but at the same time the us soldiers and administration dident care about the muslim culture at all.... a proof of this is that the american soldiers still use dogs to search for weapons inside iraqi homes though the dog is considered a dirty and allmost unholy animal by the muslims.... the fact that someone in the american goverment have approved of the use of torture is also something
